THE GEORGIAN HOUSE

I worked as part of a design and production team on a low-budget film set in a British Georgian house, where we created a two-room linked box set within strict size limits (4m x 3m, 12ft high) and included practical windows and doors. Our team collaborated to design, build, paint, dress, and strike the set, balancing materials, construction methods, scenic finishes, set dressing, camera needs, and health and safety requirements. With a £1500 budget and a six-week timeline, we divided into smaller specialist groups while maintaining shared responsibility for delivering a cohesive, high-quality final set.
